Viking Knit Bangle

Viking Knit is an ancient Viking method used to make ornamental embellishment by weaving metal wire to form tubes. This is a more complex double weave which adds density and is visually striking, yet simple. 

Wires of fine metal alloys have been used in these bracelets.  Argentium - which is a relatively new alloy of silver similar to sterling but brighter and with a higher resistance to tarnish, and Gold-Fill which is an alloy using 14k gold with brass and provides the rich look of gold but at an economical price compared to pure gold.

The glass beads are historical replicas of beads found in Norse archeological sites and the artist can be found on Etsy at Noble & Whimsical.
